Terms of service

The short version: Ash gives you a considered opinion, not a guarantee. You're still the manager, and the decisions are still yours.

What Ash is

Ash is an assistant that reads your fantasy basketball roster and answers questions about it. It's a tool for making your own decisions faster and better informed.

Advice, not a guarantee

This is the most important line on the page. Ash gives advice. It doesn't promise results.

Fantasy basketball is variance. A player who was the right start can score four points. A waiver pickup with every indicator in his favour can be ruled out an hour before tip-off. Ash tries to give you the better side of a decision more often than not — that's all any honest analysis can do.

Ash also works from data that can be wrong, late or missing. Injury statuses change minutes before lock. Stats providers go down. Where the data isn't there, Ash is built to say so rather than guess, but it can still be wrong. Check anything that matters before you act on it.

You're responsible for your own lineup, your own trades and your own waiver claims. Don't use Ash as the sole basis for any decision involving money, including but not limited to leagues with buy-ins, prize pools or side bets.

Credits

Credits are the unit that meters deep analysis — the commands that read your actual roster. Quick, general questions don't cost a credit.

Subscriptions, pausing and cancelling

Paid plans renew automatically at the start of each period until you cancel.

Refunds

Refund requests go to assistteam2026@gmail.com.

League Access

A League Access plan gives one payer several seats to hand out inside their league. The person who pays owns the plan and may revoke a seat, which frees it for someone else. A revoked seat ends that person's access immediately. Seats can't be sold or transferred outside the plan.

Acceptable use

Don't use Ash to attack the service or anyone else. Specifically, do not:

Closing accounts

We may suspend or close an account that breaks the rules above. Where the breach is minor or looks accidental, we will warn first. Where it's deliberate abuse, we may act immediately.

If we close a paid account for abuse, we don't refund the remaining period. If we close an account for any other reason, we refund the unused part.

You can close your own account at any time by asking in Discord or by email. See the privacy policy for what happens to your data afterwards.

Availability

Ash depends on Discord, on your fantasy platform, on NBA statistics providers and on Anthropic. Any of them can be slow or down, and when they are, Ash will be too. We don't promise a specific uptime, and we're not liable for what a third party does or fails to do.

Limits of liability

Ash is provided as is. To the maximum extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost league winnings, entry fees, prizes or bets, or for decisions you made using Ash's output.

Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that can't lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the Discord before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Continuing to use Ash after a change means you accept it.
